Warner Bros. has
staked May 25, 2019 for its big screen adaptation or interpretation of Minecraft,
the widely popular and extremely lucrative sandbox videogame created by Markus
"Notch" Persson in 2009.
The Minecraft movie
is currently in development with It's Always Sunny In Philadelphia star and
co-creator Rob McElhenney attached to direct.
May of 2019 also houses Marvel's Avengers: Infinity War Part II (May 3).
