Stand-up comedian, writer, and
actor Hannibal Buress has joined the cast of Sony and Marvel's upcoming
Spider-Man: Homecoming in a yet unknown role, Variety reports.
Buress, whose credits include roles in Neighbors 2, the
Angry Birds movie, Broad City, and upcoming Baywatch, joins Tom Holland, Robert Downey Jr., Marisa Tomei, Michael Keaton,
Donald Glover, Kenneth Choi, Martin Starr, Logan Marshall-Green, Tony Revelori,
Zendaya, Laura Harrier, and Michael Barbieri.
Jon Watts is directing the film from a script penned
by John Francis Daley, and Jonathan Goldstein with Amy Pascal and Kevin Feige
producing.
Spider-Men: Homecoming hits theaters on July 7, 2017.
