Lionsgate Movies has released a new trailer for Peter Berg's upcoming bio-drama,
Deepwater Horizon.
Based on true events, Deepwater Horizon reunites Mark Wahlberg with his
Lone Survivor director and recounts the hellish moments of the crew working
aboard the BP oilrig that on April 20, 2010 exploded and quickly became one of
the biggest disasters in the world.
Opening in theaters on September 30, Deepwater Horizon also stars John
Malkovich, Dylan O'Brien, Gine Rodriguez, Kurt Russell, and Kate Hudson.
Based on the true events that occurred on an oil rig in the Gulf of Mexico
on April 20, 2010, the story chronicles the courage of those who worked on the
Deepwater Horizon and the extreme moments of bravery and survival in the face
of what would become one of the biggest man-made disasters in world history.
