Saban Films has
released the first trailer for Paranormal Activity 2 helmer Tod Williams upcoming
tech/zombie apocalypse movie, Cell.
Based on a novel of
the same name by Stephen King, when a powerful signal is broadcast across
mobile networks worldwide, cell phone users’ minds are instantly and
dangerously re-programmed. Heading north through New England in search of his
wife and son, Clay Riddell (John Cusack) is joined by a group of survivors
hoping to fend off the bloodthirsty and hyper-connected "phoners."
Arriving on VOD on
June 10th, and opening in theaters on July8th, Cell also stars Samuel L. Jackson,
Isabelle Fuhrman, Stacy Keach, and Lloyd Kaufman.
