In this new trailer for directors Chris Renaud ("Despicable
Me") and Yarrow Cheney's The Secret Life of Pets, Max (Louis C.K.) and
Duke's (Eric Stonestreet) rivalry over the affection of their owner Katie (Ellie
Kemper) lands them in big trouble, but no worries Snowball is there to help (Kevin
Hart).
Opening in theaters on July 8, The Secret Life of Pets
will try to answer the immortal question of what do our beloved pets do when we
leave?
The Secret Life of Pets also stars Lake Bell, Albert Brooks, Jenny Slate, Hannibal Buress, Bobby Moynihan,
Dana Carvey, and Steve Coogan.
For their fifth fully-animated feature-film collaboration, Illumination
Entertainment and Universal Pictures present The Secret Life of Pets, a comedy
about the lives our pets lead after we leave for work or school each day.

animated feature-film debuts in The Secret Life of Pets, which co-stars Ellie

Brooks. Illumination founder and CEO Chris Meledandri and his longtime
collaborator Janet Healy produce the film directed by Chris Renaud (Despicable
Me, Despicable Me 2), co-directed by Yarrow Cheney and written by Brian Lynch
and Cinco Paul & Ken Daurio.
