Meet The Peculiar Children In Miss Peregrine's Home For Peculiar Children

20th Century Fox wants to introduce you to some of the peculiar children in Tim Burton's adaptation of Ransom Riggs' supernatural young-adult novel, Miss Peregrine's Home For Peculiar Children. To that end the studio has released a series of GIFs featuring some of the peculiars we will encounter in the film such as Miss Peregrine (Eva Green), the floral Fiona (Georgia Pemberton), the bright-eyed Horace (Hayden Keeler-Stone), the bubbly Olive (Lauren McCrostie), the hungry Claire (Raffiella Chapman), and the amazingly strong Bronwyn (Pixie Davies).

Miss Peregrine's Home For Peculiar Children stars Asa Butterfield as Jake, a 16-year-boy plagued with nightmares following a family tragedy, who is told by his therapist to go on a journey to find an abandoned orphanage where his late grandfather claimed he once lived. There, Jake discovers that the place acts as a magical gateway to an alternate world where children with peculiarities are taken care of by a magical guardian played by Eva Green, who protects them from monsters known as hollows.

Opening on September 30th, Miss Peregrine’s Home for Peculiar Children also stars Samuel L. Jackson, Allison Janney, Terence Stamp, Kim Dickens, Judi Dench, Rupert Everett, and Ella Purnell.

From visionary director Tim Burton, and based upon the best-selling novel, comes an unforgettable motion picture experience. When his beloved grandfather leaves Jake clues to a mystery that spans different worlds and times, he finds a magical place known as Miss Peregrine’s Home for Peculiar Children. But the mystery and danger deepen as he gets to know the residents and learns about their special powers… and their powerful enemies. Ultimately, Jake discovers that only his own special “peculiarity” can save his new friends.
