Marvel Studios has unveiled the first trailer for Scott Derrickson's (Sinister, The Exorcism of Emily
Rose) Doctor Strange. In the film, Benedict Cumberbatch plays Dr. Stephen
Strange, an acclaimed neurosurgeon who uncovers
the hidden world of magic and alternate dimensions after a near-fatal car
accident.
From a script by Jon Spaihts (Prometheus), Marvel's Doctor Strange also
stars Tilda Swinton as the Ancient One, Chiwetek Ejiofor as Baron Mordo, Madds
Mikkelsen as an evil sorcerer who breaks off into his own sect, Benedict Wong
as Strange's trusted associate Wong, Rachel McAdams as a fellow surgeon that
shares a past with Strange, and Michael Stuhlbarg, Scott Adkins, and Amy
Landecker in undisclosed roles.
Doctor Strange opens in theaters on November 4.
