Open Road Films has
released the first trailer for Oliver Stone's latest politically charged movie,
Snowden. In the film, Joseph Gordon-Levitt plays Edward Snowden the polarizing
figure that split the world by exposing the NSA's illegal surveillance
activities. A hero to some and a traitor to others, the film will delve into
the reasons behind his decision, how he accomplished it, and whom he left behind
in the process.
Opening in theaters
on September 16, Snowden also stars Shailene Woodley, Melissa Leo, Tom
Wilkinson, Rhys Ifans, Zachary Quinto, and Nicolas Cage.
