With Gambit playing
Patience in his trailer waiting for the call to come out and play with everyone
else, Channing Tatum has become free to work on other projects. The actor has
announced via Twitter that he has joined Matthew Vaughn's upcoming
sequel to his 2014 raunchy spy-thriller, Kingsman: The Golden Circle.

Details on Tatum's character are
unknown but the story reportedly sees Eggsy (Taron Egerton) and Merlin (Mark
Strong) teaming-up with their American counterparts, Statesman, after the
Kingsman organization is destroyed by the film's villain.
Scheduled to start
production later this Spring for a June 10, 2017 release, Kingsman: The Golden
Circle also stars Sophie Cookson, Halle Berry, Julianne Moore, Pedro Pascal,
Edward Holcroft, and Colin Firth (though in what capacity remains unclear).
