An
attempt to destroy the virus alters the future, stranding Cole in the year 2016
with an unstable Jennifer Goines, who may or may not be his key to getting
home. Meanwhile, Jones and Railly deal with the consequences of the changed
timeline, while at the same time, they contend with Ramse as the temporal
facility's newest prisoner.
