Marvel Studios has released a series of new images and behind-the-scenes pictures
from Anthony and Joe Russo's Captain America: Civil War.
In the movie, governments
around the world hold Earth's Mightiest Heroes accountable for their actions,
despite the amount of lives they've saved. Heroes divide as Captain America
(Chris Evans) and Iron Man (Robert Downey Jr.) butt heads, and fists, while
fighting for what they believe in.
Opening on May 6, 2016, Captain America: Civil War also stars Chadwick
Boseman, Scarlett Johansson, Sebastian Stan, Anthony
Mackie, Paul Bettany, Jeremy Renner, Don Cheadle, Elizabeth
Olsen, Paul Rudd, Emily VanCamp, Frank Grillo, William
Hurt, Daniel Brühl, and Tom Holland.
“Captain America: Civil War” picks up where “Avengers: Age of Ultron” left
off, as Steve Rogers leads the new team of Avengers in their continued efforts
to safeguard humanity. After another international incident involving the
Avengers results in collateral damage, political pressure mounts to install a
system of accountability and a governing body to determine when to enlist the
services of the team. The new status quo fractures the Avengers while they try
to protect the world from a new and nefarious villain.
