Two-time Academy Award nominee Naomi
Watts is reteaming with David Lynch after her breakout role in Mulholland
Drive, and has joined the upcoming revival of the filmmaker's iconic surreal
thriller Twin Peaks on Showtime. Joining the actress is Golden Globe nominee

In addition to Watts, and Sizemore's
casting, Lynch, who co-created the cult show with Mark Frost and who is writing
and directing the new season, is also expected to reprise his role as FBI
Regional Bureau Chief Gordon Cole from the original show.
Watts and Sizemore join newcomers
Laura Dern, Jennifer Jason Leigh, Amanda Seyfried, Peter Sarsgaard, Balthazar Getty, and Robert Knepper.
Original
cast members Kyle MacLachlan, Ray Wise, Sheryl Lee, Sherilyn Fenn, Dana Ashbrook, Kimmy Robertson, Lara Flynn Boyle, Chris
Mulkey, Kenneth Welsh, Russ Tamblyn, and Piper Laurie are also returning
to reprise their respective roles.
Twin Peaks is expected
to return in the first half of 2017 with 18 new episodes.
