Straight Outta
Compton director F. Gary Gray and screenwriter Chris Morgan are still writing the
script for Fast 8 but word has got out that they are planning to introduce a first
in the predominantly male franchise, a female villain.
Furthermore, it seems
that Gray and Morgan have set their eyes on one particular actress to give Vin
Diesel a run for his money, the Academy Award winning actress Charlize Theron,
who recently gave an outstanding performance in George Miller's Mad Max: Fury
Road.
For now this all
speculation, and no offer has been to Theron, but according to Deadline the
role is "juicy" (for an F&F movie), which in theory should entice
the actress to reunite with her The Italian Job remake.
