Focus Features has released the first teaser trailer A Monster Calls, director
J.A. Bayona's latest feature film after The Impossible. Based on Patrick Ness'
low fantasy children novel of the same name, A Monster Calls follows
12-year-old Conor (Lewis MacDougall) who escapes into a fantasy world of
monsters and fairy tales as a means to an end. Dealing with his mother's illness
and escaping bullies at school.
Opening on October
14, 2016, A Monster Calls also stars Felicity Jones, Liam Neeson, Sigourney
Weaver, and Toby Kebbell.
