Mark Ruffalo Confirms Role In Thor: Ragnarok

There has been some speculation as to when we will next see the big guy on screen, well, the big guy has spoken and has confirmed with the Huffington Post that he will indeed be in Thor's third solo outing, Ragnarok.

"I play Dr. Bruce Banner, and occasionally I turn into a big green, mean monster," Mark Ruffalo joked. "I am excited to keep coming back to this role. I see a lot of space for it to grow."

Not exactly a detailed explanation of his role, but the actor did revealed what he would like to see "the relationship between Banner and Hulk." In fact, he would like to see both share some screen time together. "Hopefully, we'll see the two of them in a scene together. That would be cool!"

There have been plenty of moments in both the comics and in animation when Hulk and Banner faced each other.

In Avengers: Earth Mightiest Heroes, Banner convinces the Hulk to help Thor and join the Avengers.

But in Hulk vs Thor, Loki and Enchantress split the two and send the Green Goliath to destroy Thor. The cool thing here is that the same duo that wrote the animation, Craig Kyle and Christopher Yost, are also writing Ragnarok.

Thor: Ragnarok is scheduled to hit theaters on November 3, 2017.
