Netflix has released a new promotional
image from their second original live-action series based on a Marvel property,
Jessica Jones, and in it, we see the titular character played by Krysten Ritter,
approaching Zebediah Killgrave, aka the Purple Man played by David Tennant.
Launching on November 20, Jessica Jones also stars
Mike Colter, David Tennant, Carrie-Anne Moss,
Rachael Taylor, Eka Darville, Erin Moriarty, Susie Abromeit, and Wil Traval.
Ever since her short-lived stint as a Super Hero ended in tragedy, Jessica
Jones (Krysten Ritter) has been rebuilding her personal life and career as a
hot-tempered, sardonic, badass private detective in Hell's Kitchen, New York
City. Plagued by self-loathing, and a wicked case of PTSD, Jessica battles
demons from within and without, using her extraordinary abilities as an
unlikely champion for those in need... especially if they're willing to cut her
a check.
