British actor Tom
Payne has joined the upcoming sixth season of AMC's zombie hit drama, The
Walking Dead. Payne is set to play Paul "Jesus" Monroe, who in the
comics (spoilers) hails from the Hilltop Colony, and serves as an adviser to
Rick Grimes. The actor also plays a considerable role in the war against Negan
and the Saviors.
Payne's acting
credits include roles in Skins, Waterloo Road, Luck, The Physician, and New
Worlds.
The Walking Dead
returns October 11 on AMC.
