With
the next and final couple of installments of the Divergent Series movies set to
come out in the next few years, Lionsgate has decided to release two teaser
posters way ahead of their release dates.
Titled
Allegiant and Ascendant, the two films will see the return of director Robert
Schwentke, and stars Shailene Woodley, Theo James, Zoë Kravitz, Miles Teller,
Naomi Watts, Ansel Elgort, and Maggie Q to the YA fold after Insurgent.
Both
movies follow the trend of splitting the final book in the series of novels
into two movies.
Allegiant
is scheduled to hit theaters on March 18, 2016, while Ascendant drops roughly a
year later on March 24, 2017.
