After dusting off Mad Max to
great success, it looks like George Miller could be on his way to direct Man of
Steel 2. The rumor came from The Death of Superman Lives: What Happened?
director Jon Schnepp, who on two different occasions, one on Collider Movie
Talk and another on Popcorn Talk, revealed that since Zack Snyder will likely
be too busy with Justice League to return to Man of Steel, so Miller will be one
directing the second superman movie.
If Schnepp's info is true then it means
that Miller is taking another bite out of the DC apple after his already
planned and cast Justice League movie got canceled.
Titled Justice League Mortal, Miller's
film would have starred DJ Cutrona as Superman, Armie Hammer as Batman, Common
as Green Lantern, Megan Gale as Wonder Woman, Adam
Brody as The Flash, Teresa Palmer as Talia Al Ghul, Zoe
Kasan as Iris Allen, Jay Baruchel as Maxwell Lord, Hugh
Keays-Byrne as Martian Manhunter, and Santiago Cabrera as Aquaman.
Honestly, as much as
I would like to see what Miller could do with the character, I would rather prefer
he continues to develop the world of Mad Max.
