20th Century Fox has released
a brand new trailer for Ridley Scott and screenwriter Drew Goddard's adaptation
of The Martian. Based on Andy Weir's sci-fi novel of the same name, The Martian
stars Matt Damon as Mark Watney, an astronaut who is presumed dead after a
fierce storm hits and his left behind by his crew on the red planet. Alone and
with a small amount of provisions, Watney must draw upon his ingenuity, wit and
spirit to subsist and find a way to signal to Earth that he is alive.
Opening on November 25, The
Martian also stars Kristen Wiig, Chiwetel
Ejiofor, Jessica Chastain, Kate
Mara, Sebastian Stan, Michael Pena, Jeff
Daniels, Donald Glover, Sean
Bean, and Mackenzie Davis.
During a manned mission to
