Powers and The Vampire
Diaries actor Justice Leak has join the cast of CBS' Supergirl as the bug like villain,
Hellgrammite, an alien that will make life difficult for Supergirl (Melissa
Benoist).
This version of the character
is a departure from the comics, where he was a brilliant entomologist named
Roderick Rose, who subjected himself to a mutagenic process that transforms him
into a super strong humanoid insect with the grasshopper type ability to jump
really far. He also could cling to walls, produce poison, and trap his enemies
in cocoons that turned them into larvae.
Supergirl returns on
October 26.
