With production
scheduled to start this coming week, Arrow star Stephen Amell confirmed at the San
Diego Comic-Con panel for the upcoming fourth season of the show that Oliver
will now fight under the name, Green Arrow.
However, that's not
all. It was all revealed that in addition to the new name, Green Arrow will
also have a new costume designed by Maya Mani, who also created the Arsenal (Colton
Haynes), Speedy (Willa Holland), Black Canary (Katie Cassidy), and Ray Palmer's
(Brandon Routh) A.T.O.M. suits.
As expected, the new
season will have a new villain, but it will also introduce a new hero. At the panel,
Greg Berlanti announced that the third smartest person in the DC Comics
universe, Mr. Terrific will be joining the fourth season of Arrow, and though
he didn't specify which version of the character will be used, he did reveal
that he will work with Felicity Smoak, and be gay.
Besides Mr. Terrific,
Berlanti also announced the addition of Anarky to the show, but other than that,
no further details were given.
