Back in April,
producers Roy Lee, Seth Grahame-Smith, and David Katzenberg teamed with Warner
Bros. to bring developer Scott Cawthon's indie point-and-click horror survival
video game Five Nights At Freddy's to the big screen. Now according to
Deadline, Monster House and Poltergeist remake director Gil Kenan has boarded
the project, which he will also pen with video game writer Tyler Burton Smith (Prototype
2, Sleeping Dogs).
Five Nights At Freddy's
takes place at a restaurant called Freddy Fazbear's Pizza, and you play as the
security guard, who has to survive his/her shift by keeping a close eye on the
security cameras and track the animatronic animals that have come to life an
now roam the restaurant at night.
