After winning three Eisner
Awards for The Wicked + The Divine, Kieron Gillen, Jamie McKelvie, and Matt
Wilson will see their book getting the TV treatment.
According to Deadline,
Universal TV has optioned the rights of The Wicked + The Divine. Comic book
veterans, Matt Fraction, and Kelly Sue DeConnick will produce the series under
their Milkfed Criminal Masterminds banner.
Ten issues of The Wicked + The
Divine have been released since its June, 2014 debut via Image Comics, but
thirty to sixty more are expected to complete the run.
