Colin Trevorrow Won't Direct Jurassic World Sequel

Assuming that Jurassic World is well received, lives up to the tracking prediction that it will open as high as $130 million, and that a sequel is greenlit, director Colin Trevorrow says that he won't return to the franchise in that capacity.

While attending the World premiere of Jurassic World in Paris, France, the director confessed that one Jurassic film is enough and that other directors should helm subsequent installments.

Jurassic Park is like Star Wars. Different directors can give a different taste to each movie. I would be involved in some way, but not as director.

Opening on June 12, 2015, Jurassic World stars Chris Pratt, Bryce Dallas Howard, Ty Simpkins, Jake Johnson, Nick Robinson, Irrfan Khan, Vincent D'Onofrio, B.D. Wong, Omar Sy and Judy Greer.
