With director
Ryan Unicomb's documentary into George Miller's cancelled Justice League movie, Justice League Mortal
gaining traction among fans, more and more pre-production artifacts have come
to light. We recently saw some pieces of concept art and concept sculpture from
the film, and now storyboard artist Steve Skroce, who was attached to the
project, has decided to share a few pages of his work, which depict an action
scene between Superman (DJ Cutrona) and Wonder Woman (Megan Gale).
The documentary won't "delve too deeply into the
unfortunate circumstances that brought about the films cancellation - instead
it will be a 'love letter' of sorts to George Miller's vision and the team that
was working tirelessly to make it a reality", through a
series of interviews with cast and crew, as well as the unveiling of never
before seen artwork.
If Miller's Justice League film had been
greenlit by the studio it would have also starred Adam Brody as The Flash, Armie Hammer as Batman, Common as Green Lantern, Teresa
Palmer as Talia Al Ghul, Zoe Kasan as Iris Allen, Jay Baruchel as
Maxwell Lord, Hugh Keays-Byrne as J'onn J'onzz, aka Martian Manhunter, and Santiago
Cabrera as Aquaman.
