We knew it was
happening, but somehow seeing both lead actors sitting together on the set of
the upcoming X-Files revival series just makes things more real, like it's
actually happening!
With details about
the upcoming 6-episode series being kept under wraps, Fox has decided to tease
fans with a behind-the-scenes image featuring both David Duchovny (Fox Mulder),
and Gillian Anderson (Dana Scully).
Other than the return of original series co-stars Mitch Pileggi (Skinner), and William B. Davis (Cigarette Smoking Man), the upcoming new series will also include Joel McHale, who will play a conservative news anchor of a popular internet network, who becomes an unlikely ally of Mulder.
The X-Files returns on January 24, 2016, with the second episode airing the day after.
