Director Bryan Singer
has shared yet another behind-the-scenes image from X-Men: Apocalypse revealing
the parents of Scott, and Alex Summers' parents, better known in the Marvel
universe as Cyclops and Havok.
But…
Are these really the
Summers brothers parents?
In the comics while
returning home from holyday, the Summers' airplane got hijacked by an alien
race, and though both Alex and Scott managed to escape thanks to their mother
Katherine, both parents got abducted. While onboard the alien spacecraft,
Christopher (father) managed to sneak away from his captors to find his wife. Unfortunately,
Katherine didn't survive the alien emperor savagery. Later on Christopher
becomes a space pirate known as Corsair.
