Two
days ago Ivan Reitman stepped down from directing the long gestating
Ghostbusters III. Now according to Nikki Finke, the directing duo
Phil Lord and Chris Miller are in talks to helm the sequel.
Lord
and Miller made quite an impact with their first feature in 2009,
Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs, which was followed with the
equally popular 21 Jump Street reboot in 2012 and recently the mega
hit The Lego Movie.
Shooting
on Ghostbusters III is set to start in early 2015 in the Big Apple
and the plot is rumored to focus on a new team of Ghostbusters with
cameos from the original cast.
