Though two days don't seem that far away, a rumor regarding Martin
Freeman's character in Captain America: Civil War, and future MCU films has
come out.
According to the Latino Review, Freeman will play an interrogator of sorts
in Civil War, and will return for Black Panther.
The report claims that Freeman's character is the MCU version of Everett
Ross, a government liaison, who becomes a Wakandian expert and a friend of
T'Challa, the Black Panther. The report also points out that by interrogator we
shouldn't assume torturer, noting that Freeman is a friendly actor, whose
manners put him close to Clark Gregg's Phill Coulson then anyone else.
Captain America: Civil War opens on May 6, 2016 and
will star Chris Evans (Captain America), Robert Downey Jr. (Iron Man), Chadwick
Boseman (Black Panther), Scarlett Johansson (Black Widow), Elizabeth Olsen
(Wanda Maximoff), Daniel Brühl (Baron Zemo), Jeremy Renner (Hawkeye), Sebastian
Stan (Winter Soldier), Anthony Mackie (Falcon), and Frank Grillo (Crossbones).
