Universal, and Legendary
Pictures have released the official theatrical trailer for Guillermo del Toro's
upcoming gothic horror film, Crimson Peak starring Mia Wasikowska "a young woman swept off by her feet by a
charismatic suitor (Tom Hiddleston) and taken back to his ancestral home. There
she finds more than she bargained for, including a jealous sister (Jessica Chastain)
and more than a few skeletons in the closet."
Though the first trailer was
more intense, this one offers new details about the characters, and the house,
which for this genre of film is I feel a mistake that spoils the experience.
Opening on October 16th, 2015,
Crimson Peak also stars Charlie Hunnam, and Jim Beaver.
Legendary
Pictures’ Crimson Peak, a co-production with Universal Pictures, is a
haunting gothic horror story directed by the master of dark fairy tales,

a family tragedy, an aspiring author is torn between love for her childhood
friend and the temptation of a mysterious outsider. Trying to escape the
ghosts of her past, she is swept away to a house that breathes, bleeds…and
remembers. Thomas Tull, Jon Jashni, del Toro and Callum Greene produce,
