Focus Features has unveiled the first trailer for director Ciaran Foy's
(Citadel) Sinister 2 featuring quite a lot of the horror franchise villain, the Buhguul. Foy takes over Scott
Derrickson at the helm, but the soon to be Doctor Strange director still
managed to alongside C. Robert Cargill pen the script for the horror sequel.
Scheduled to hit theaters on August 21st, Sinister II stars Shannon
Sossamon, James Ranson, Robert Sloan, Dartanian Sloan, Tate Ellington, and
Nicholas King.
In the aftermath of the shocking events [of] “Sinister,” a protective
mother (Shannyn Sossamon of “Wayward Pines”) and her 9-year-old twin sons
(real-life twins Robert and Dartanian Sloan) find themselves in a rural house
marked for death as the evil spirit of Buhguul continues to spread with
frightening intensity.
