It seems that the Marvel's
Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. spinoff series will be led by Bobbi Morse, aka
Mockingbird played by Adrianne Palicki, and Lance Hunter played by Nick Blood,
and should play of the dynamic between both characters.
Morse and Hunter are
former wife and husband, and are in a constant tug of war, which might give the
show a "Mr. & Mrs. Smith vibe".
Agents of
S.H.I.E.L.D. executive producer Jeff Bell, and co-executive producer Paul
Zbyszewski are developing the spinoff. The two are currently writing the
script, and in case it gets picked up for a pilot or given a straight to series
order, both will executive produce it, with Zbyszewski as its showrunner.
This will be the
fourth Marvel series currently being developed at ABC in addition to Agents of
S.H.I.E.L.D., a second season of Agent Carter, and a drama written by John Ridley
(12 Years A Slave) that according to speculation will focus on Kamala Khan, aka
Ms. Marvel.
