The first season of
Gotham offered plenty of teases and hints as to the identity of Batman's
greatest foe, the Joker, but that's all over for now, says the series creator and executive producer Bruno Heller. The second season however will be quite different says the creator.
Schedule to begin shooting this summer, the second season of the FOX series will kick off with an evil grin.
"You're not
going to see teases of The Joker before the end of the season, because the
beginning of Season Two is a big Joker-oriented, or 'how the Joker came to be'
kind of story," Heller said. "The beginning of Season Two is the very
earliest origins of how The Joker came to be."
However, don't expect
acid squirt flowers, or mallets, since according to Heller this version of the
Clown Prince of Crime is in a "pre-embryonic" state.
