Tonight director Henry
Hobson's zombie drama Maggie makes its premiere at the Tribeca Film Festival. To
celebrate the moment Arnold Schwarzenegger decided to unveil a clip from the
film in which he plays Wade, a small-town farmer who sees his daughter Maggie
(Abigail Breslin) become infected with the zombie epidemic that's threatening
humanity. Refusing to accept his daughter's fate, Wade fights to protect her
from those that want to destroy her.
Maggie seems to be a departure
for the actor, who is more accustomed to action centric flicks. He seems restrained,
and low-key in comparison to other films, and he knows it.
"This
is different than any movie I've done," Arnold wrote on his Facebook page.
"Henry Hobson was a great director and Abigail Breslin and Joely
Richardson are both incredible."
Scheduled to premiere on May
8th, Maggie also stars Joely Richardson, and Laura Cayouette.
