Actor Masi Oka is set to reprise the fan favorite time
travelling character Hiro Nakamura in the upcoming 13-episode series, Heroes
Reborn.
"I’m excited to
return to my Heroes roots,"
said the actor. "Hiro Nakamura was such an inspirational role to play, and
I’m hoping the fans will enjoy seeing him back on TV."
"The character of Hiro Nakamura
was such a huge part of the first series’ success, and a gigantic fan favorite,"
said Tim Kring the creator and executive producer of Heroes and Heroes Reborn. "We
felt the fans would really love seeing him back in action again."
Oka joins fellow Heroes alum Jack Coleman (Noah Bennet),
and newcomers, Zachary Levi. Robbie Kay, Judith Shekoni, Danika Yarosh, Henry Zebrowski, Ryan Guzman, and
Gatlin Green.
