Jai Courtney On What Drove Him To Suicide Squad And His Costume

While some actors are reluctant in joining franchises Australian actor Jai Courtney seems to find them appealing. Adding to his hits like Divergent and misses like A Good Day To Die Hard, Courtney will next be seen in two new other projects of that particular type, Terminator: Genysis, and Suicide Squad. Speaking of the latter to MTV News, the actor revealed that what drove him to the project was the opportunity to work with writer/director David Ayer, and the fact that the character is Australian. The actor was more tightlipped when it came to the costume he will be wearing in the film, but he did reveal that he has seen the concept art and it is cool.

The Divergent Series: Insurgent is scheduled to open next week on March 20th. Terminator: Genisys will open a few months later on July 1st, and Suicide Squad opens next year on August 5th.
