One of the many questions going through fans minds is how will director Neill
Blomkamp revive Michael Biehn's Cpl. Hicks for Alien 5. We know that Blomkamp thought
about reintroducing Hicks in his entry in the franchise thanks to those pieces
of concept art he shared a few months ago that featured Michael Biehn alongside
Sigourney Weaver, but how will the director go around the Alien canon?
The filmmaker has stated the film will be a "genetic sibling" to
James Cameron's Aliens, but he also stated that he won't disregard Alien 3, where
Hicks and Ripley died, and Alien: Resurrection, which saw the introduction of
clone Ripley 200 years in the future.
Well whatever he's planning it sounds like Cpl. Dwayne Hicks will be in the
thick and thin of it.
