It's been awhile since we heard anything from Tyrese Gibson in regards to Green Lantern John Stewart. Back in January the actor shared more than few fan made images of himself as Green Lantern apparently to champion for the role. The whole thing was short and culminated with the actor revealing that he was on his way for a meeting with Warner Bros. He didn't revealed what the meeting was for, nor what had been the outcome, until now that is. The actor has shared another fan image, but this time saying "The Oath - See you soon…"
It's easy to jump the
gun and say he has been cast as Green Lantern, but I would speculate that the
only thing missing might be signing that dotted line.
Green Lantern hits
theaters in 2020, but there are some rumors that he will appear in the 2017
Justice League Part 1.
