Since Marvel and Sony
announced that their Spider-Man deal had gone through we've seen many actors either show interest in the
role or at the very least express their availability. Logan Lerman, Dylan
O'Brien, Donald Glover, and Freddie Highmore have all been rumored for the
role, and some have expressed their desire to be the new Peter Parker, but now
a new name has emerged. Hugo and Ender's Game star Asa Butterfield has
expressed interest in the role.
Butterfield expressed his interest in
the role almost a month ago, when the Marvel and Sony deal was sealed and
announced, but went virtually unnoticed by most. So a month ago the actor
started an Ask Me Anything on Reddit and it was there that the actor was asked
if would be interested in playing the new Spider-Man.
What do you think of Butterfield, who
is 17-years old playing the rumored 15-year old, high school student, Peter
Parker?
