Not happy with just being voice of Dr. Well's computer Gideon on The Flash,
or being the love interest of Detective Gordon in Gotham, Morena Baccarin just
landed the female lead role in yet another comic book adaptation. Baccarin is
set to star in director Tim Miller's upcoming directorial debut, Deadpool,
where she will act opposite Ryan Reynolds, who plays an assassin, "who undergoes a
procedure to cure his cancer that ends up leaving him twisted and scarred but
also imbued with superpowers."
Baccarin's yet unknown
character will be Reynolds love interest, who struggles with falling in love
for a man with such a scarred face.
T.J. Miller, and Gina Carano have also landed roles in this February 12,
2016 release.
