Irrfan Khan, Omar Sy Join Inferno

With In the Heart of the Sea finished and awaiting to go out to theaters this fall, director Ron Howard is finishing pre-production on his next adaptation of one of Dan Brown's books, Inferno. Tom Hanks will be reprising his (The Da Vinci Code and Angels & Demons) role of professor of symbology, Robert Langdon, and joining him this time are Felicity Jones as Dr. Sienna Brooks, Sidse Babett Knudsen as Dr. Eliabeth Sinskey, the head of the World Health Organization, Irrfan Khan as Harry Sims "The Provost", and Omar Sy as Christoph Bruder.

"In the heart of Italy, Harvard professor of symbology, Robert Langdon, is drawn into a harrowing world centered on one of history’s most enduring and mysterious literary masterpieces . . . Dante’s Inferno.

Against this backdrop, Langdon battles a chilling adversary and grapples with an ingenious riddle that pulls him into a landscape of classic art, secret passageways, and futuristic science. Drawing from Dante’s dark epic poem, Langdon races to find answers and decide whom to trust . . . before the world is irrevocably altered."

Inferno is scheduled to hit theaters on October 14, 2016.
