Marvel Entertainment
have announced that actors Eka Darville, Erin Moriarty, and Will Traval have
joined Krysten Ritter, Mike Colter David Tennant, Rachel Taylor, and Carrie-Anne
Moss in the upcoming 13-episode Netflix series, A.K.A. Jessica Jones.
Eka Darville
("The Originals," "Power Rangers R.P.M.) plays Malcolm, a neighbor
of Jessica’s whose own journey will intertwine with her quest in a surprising
way.
Erin Moriarty
("The Kings of Summer," "Red Widow") plays Hope, a young
girl who becomes a client of Alias Investigations.
Wil Traval ("Red
Widow," "All Saints") plays an NYPD cop who takes “protect and
serve” very seriously.
Executive produced
and showrunned by Melissa Rosenberg, A.K.A. Jessica Jones will be next series
in line to premiere in Netflix after Daredevil, and will be followed by Luke
Cage, Iron Fist, and finally The Defenders.
