The plan was to start shooting the sixth entry in the Resident Evil
franchise last Summer in Cape Town, but things got put on hold when Milla
Jovovich found out she was pregnant. Now just ten weeks until her baby is due,
the star of the franchise has announced that Resident Evil: The Final Chapter will
go into production this August.
“I’m really proud of myself for not gaining the same amount of weight that
I did with our first child (75 lbs.) because I have to be ready to start
filming ‘Resident Evil- The Final Chapter’ in August of this year and I will
also be nursing an infant simultaneously.”
The movie will also see the return of Wentworth Miller's character, Chris
Redfield, and according to ComingSoon the film will hit theaters on September
2, 2016.
