Actors Nick Frost (Cornetto trilogy),
Toby Jones (Captain America: The Winter Soldier), and Eddie Marsan (The World's
End) will not be reprising their roles from Snow White & The Huntsman in
the upcoming sequel. According to Deadline only two Dwarves will play into the
new film but Frost, Jones, and Marsan, whom played the dwarves Nion, Coll, and
Duir respectively are out. They say that Marsan won't return because he's busy
with the Showtime series Ray Donovan, as for Frost and Jones apparently
negotiation broke down.
Of the remaining Dwarves only those
played by Ian McShane, Johnny Harris, Ray Winstone, and Brian Gleeson are a
possibility since the other one was played by Bob Hoskins who passed away.
"The sequel sends the Huntsman
(Chris Hemsworth) on a quest to find the magic mirror (which has been stolen),
forcing him to face not only his past but the evil Snow Queen who’s set on
avenging her sister Ravenna’s death. Charlize Theron will return as the
villainous Ravenna and Blunt is making a deal to play her sister, the evil Snow
Queen."
