Just How Many Reverse-Flash's Are There?

The midseason finale of The Flash ended in Dr. Harrison Wells secret room with him standing next to the Reverse-Flash, thus confirming once and for all that he is the character, or is he?

While at TCA (Television Critics Association) star Tom Cavanagh confirmed that, “He’s the man in the yellow suit. Yes, I am Reverse Flash.” However, it seems that there might more than one Reverse-Flash at play as teased by Andrew Kreisberg, who also promised that we will finally learn more about Detective Eddie Thawne and his connection to the villainous character.

"We’re going to see what happened that night from the Reverse Flash’s point of view," Kreisberg said of the night where the Reverse-Flash killed Barry's mother, however “I didn’t say it was from Wells’ point of view, I said it was from the Reverse Flash’s point of view."

"His name is not an accident," said Kreisberg. "Eddie's connection to the Reverse Flash lore is going to pay off big time in the back half of the year."

In yet another however and to complicate matters, Cavanagh added that "there is just one Reverse Flash," and that “When we get into that moment and really start parsing through details of what that moment is, it’s going to be very gratifying to the audience. It’s got deeper levels. There’s so much more to it.”
