Chris Pratt's gravitas is pulling in all kinds of different
projects. After Guardians of the Galaxy, and the soon to be released Jurassic
World, Pratt is also attached to lead a somewhat out there property, Cowboy
Ninja Viking. Based on writer A.J. Lieberman and illustrator Riley Rossmo's
graphic novel of the same name, Cowboy Ninja Viking is set to star Pratt as Duncan,
a man suffering from Multiple Personality Disorder, and is recruited to a
counter-intelligence unit called the Triplets. There he is transformed into an
assassin with the skills of a Cowboy, a Ninja, and a Viking. Duncan eventually
escapes and uses his new skills to track down the billionaire behind the
program.
Now, according to Variety, Universal is eyeing John Wick's directors David
Leitch, and Chad Stahelski to helm the adaptation penned by Paul Wernick, and
Rhett Reese. According to them Pratt has met with the directors and gave
Universal the ok sign, so now it's up to the duo of directors to decide whether
to do it or not.
Both Leitch, and Stahelski were stuntman and stunt coordinators before jumping
into the director's chair to helm one of the best actions films of the year.
