Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. has become synonymous
with giving established comics characters different names just so the surprise
factor isn't lost. So like with all new additions when Battlestar Galactica
star Edward James Olmos was announced as some none-Marvel character called
Robert Gonzalez, everyone ran to the hills to try to figure out just who he
might be. Well in a recent interview, Olmos didn't come out and say who his
character is, but offered a couple of clues.
The actor revealed that the casting
was a surprise, but since he was already a fan of Marvel's he was happy for it.
Olmos goes on to say that his character has a "short arc. It's only about
between three to five/six shows".
The actor also revealed that Gonzalez, "Well,
I'll just put it to you this way: When he smiles, the whole world smiles with
him."
Who could he be? Is he S.H.I.E.L.D.,
or Hydra? Could he be another senator on Hydra's pocket? Maybe he's more (In)human
than that.
What do you think?
