Over
the weekend, Fox Television Group Chairman Gary Newman, and CEO Dana Walden
revealed that some talks about the possibility of bringing back their hit show
The X-Files have occurred.
Now
speaking to USA Today, co-star of the show David Duchovny, who has a new show,
and book coming out, said that he would "more than happy and excited to
bring it back and do it again with (co-star) Gillian (Anderson) and (series
creator) Chris (Carter)."
The
54-year-old actor seems eager to continue to believe, but adds that he's too
old to a full season.
"I'm
assuming that it will happen sooner rather than later now. We'll see what form,
how many (episodes). Certainly I can't nor would I be interested in doing a
full season. It will be in some kind of limited form. We're all old, we don't
have the energy for a full season," he said.
Thoughts?
