In a recent interview with
Entertainment Weekly, Chris Hemsworth recalls being cast as Thor, comparing his experience
in picking up Thor's hammer for the first time with that of Samuel L. Jackson joining
the Star Wars prequels and receiving the lightsaber. The actor also spoke about
how some people first saw Marvel's plans and The Avengers as the B-Team. Finally,
the actor congratulates director Joss Whedon on his work.
"What I love about Joss is
the incredible amount of detail in amongst that action. The action's sort of
the bonus I think. What you get in this is a very detailed look at what those
guys are going through in this particular current state of the world..."
